1. Intro—we’ll continue to explore how a computer works. This month we’ll focus on the “fetch and execute” cycle—the way the computer gets the next instruction and uses a control matrix to execute the next command

Main: a discussion of the Chinese “social credit” system, the effort by the Chinese government to create a “social score” for each citizen, and what it can teach us about the role of social networks in the U.S., including “nudge theory”.
